How can this be free? Nothing is free…

Working with a Realtor when purchasing a property is typically free with almost any Realtor, and when it comes my services, they are currently free.

I still get paid for helping you secure a home, but that portion of the commission is paid by the seller of the home you purchase. In very rare instances where the seller is not paying a commission to the buyers agent (ie: Private sales) we may discuss a different compensation set up, but this is rare and is handled on a case by case basis.

It is important to remember that while working with a Realtor to purchase a home may not cost you any up front cash, not choosing the right one could end up costing you in other ways.

You could end up paying for it in missed opportunities, sloppy paperwork or over paying for your home.
Make sure your agent aligns with what you’re looking for, provides the resources you need to make informed decisions and is competent enough to handle one of the largest transactions you will ever make.

  • 1. Strategy

    Step one is to develop our strategy. That begins with a simple consultation where we will set you up with the proper financial and legal services (if you have your own lined up, that’s fine too). This will help us define our conditions and budget.
    From there we nail down our areas of interest and start sending you the most recent market data about those neighbourhoods. After that we start exploring houses.

  • 2. Looking Behind the Walls

    While we are looking at homes, you may be busy looking at how big the rec room is, what kind of countertops the kitchen has, I’ll be busy looking at the homes efficiency, its mechanicals and overall how solid the home is.

    When we go to look at a potential new home we need to make sure its more than just visually attractive. It needs to be safe, solid and worth your hard earned money

  • 3. Negotiations

    After we have selected a home to offer on, I will use live market insights to determine a recommended offer price. From there our offer will be crafted with proper conditions to protect you and keep your needs at the forefront of the transaction.

    Negotiations are approached with the simple target of “getting you what you want”. They aren’t always quick and easy but your purchase will be the best deal possible for you.
